When Clear+Brilliant Is the Right Call

Choose Clear+Brilliant when:

  • The patient is younger (25–35) and wants to prevent aging, not reverse it.
  • They need to be back at work or a social event by the next morning.
  • You're building a long-term relationship—Clear+Brilliant is an excellent entry point for a laser practice.
  • They have mild dyschromia or textural changes without significant wrinkles or scars.

Skip Clear+Brilliant when:

  • The patient has deep scars or substantial photodamage—you'll disappoint them and waste their money.
  • They've already tried 6+ sessions of Clear+Brilliant with minimal improvement—it's time to escalate.
  • They want a 'quick fix' for severe melasma—Clear+Brilliant may flare certain pigment types.

The Bottom Line — Choose Based on Patient Need, Not Marketing

If you press me, I'd say the biggest mistake I see clinics make is treating every patient with one 'magic' device. That's lazy. Fraxel and Clear+Brilliant are complementary, not competitive. Fraxel is your structural remodeling tool. Clear+Brilliant is your maintenance and engagement builder. Use them that way.
